Optional Campus Tour: will be 9:15 - 10:15 AM OR 2:15 - 3:00 PM (Must be pre-registered in Blue Panda)

 

Opening Session: will begin at 10:15 AM

 

Attire: Appropriate attire for this conference will be business casual. (VT FBLA polo shirt preferred). All proceeds from the sale of the polo shirts will go to one of the State Officer projects: Nora's Beans, Project  HOePpnEr or Vermont flood victims.

Our State Officer team is leading by modeling good servant leadership.

The Vermont FBLA Fall Leadership Conference is an event for all current FBLA members and those thinking about joining FBLA as a motivational tool and to showcase the opportunities that FBLA offers, including networking with Norwich University leadership officials, professors, and students. 

 

Meals: Lunch will be served in Norwich University's dining hall.

This adviser and chapter presidents meeting is to prepare for "on the road to 2024 SLC" series. You will receive your SLC chapter packets and will have the opportunity to ask questions of the VT FBLA State Director and Assistant State Director.

How do you differentiate yourself from other students? How do you better position yourself in an interview? In this session, you will join an interactive Kahoot challenge to learn opportunities that are available to students when you are preparing to write or update your resume and when you go for that important job interview. Learn as you compete with some do and don't of resume writing and job interview.

Nora Beads & Project HOePpnEr

Reducing the stigma around mental illness is this year's state project. Join the conversation to learn more about Nora's Beads and Project HOePpnEr and how you can support these grass root organizations at your FBLA chapter.

Meet your tour guide from Norwich University Admissions Office to provide you with a personalized walking tour for a closer look at campus life and what Norwich University has to offer.

Norwich University Student Engagement Roundtable

Come talk to a Norwich University student about leadership development, business school opportunities, and how you can foster personal growth and engagement. Ask questions to learn how they manage their daily lives to be successful while attending Norwich University.

Real-World Virtual Reality Stock Market Exploration

As Future Business Leaders of America, it is essential to learn how to make smart monetary decisions and master the basics of financial literacy. Finance is an enormous sector of the business economy and a fundamental aspect of daily life. And, as a Future Business Leader of America member, you can use this knowledge to apply it to the Stock Market Challenge event. In this session, participants will be taken on a brief journey of Norwich University's new financial lab and an interactive financial activity.

Team Building

A key requirement of any successful team is communication. Team members must be able to communicate clearly and concisely so the group is on the same page and moving together in the same direction. Come test your communication in this fun team building and group activity.

There is a Competitive Event for You!

It's never too soon to be thinking about competitive events and preparing for state and national competitions. An FBLA member's ultimate goal where competitive events are concerned is competing at the National Leadership Conference (NLC), and preparation is key to reaching that goal. Attend this session for a run down on how to get ready for competition at the SLC. 

NO ON STREET PARKING IS ALLOWED. All buses and vans should be parked in a designated parking area on campus the day of the conference.
