Introduction - and enrollment instructions
The on demand class will guide the students through developing real world experience in the development and implementation of an innovative, creative, and effective partnership plan with a local business. The online class will focus on the following learning targets:
LT 1 We are learning to describe project development and strategies used to implement partnership
LT 2 We are learning to explain the responsibilities of the business and chapter leaders
LT3 We are learning to maintain appropriate level of chapter member involvement in project
LT4 We are learning to show evidence of information learned from partnership; Business planning/ organization/control/ objectives/goal setting
LT4 We are learning to present evidence of publicity received
LT6 We are learning to self evaluate project effectiveness
LT7 We are learning to create statements that are well organized and clearly stated
LT 8 We are learning to demonstrates self confidence, poise, assertiveness, and good voice in our communications.
The ITSE Standards addressed will be (1)Empowered Learner, (2)Digital Citizen, (3)Knowledge Constructor. The NBEA Standards to be addressed will be (1) career development, (2)communication, (3)entrepreneurship, (4)information technology and (5)management. Students will establish their own project deadlines, their own supplemental resources and use established rubrics to measure their outcomes. Additionally, students will create and support their clients’ project needs, request and receive feedback from their clients and present their final findings at the spring conference.
This online class will be launched using Edmodo.com’s free learning management system in September of 2019 and will remain open until March 5th, 2020 Classroom teachers will be provided with the class name and sign in code. Currently, a significant number of classroom teachers respond that they would promote this online class to their students. Students will log into the class and complete the following assignments/projects:
Each member of the team individually tests at Northstar Digital Literacy in the following modules: Internet Basics, Social Media, Information Literacy. Scores of 80% -
