The Vermont FBLA State Officer Team serves as permanent standing student-led committee of the Vermont FBLA organization. State Officers are elected by voting delegates from each local chapter at the annual state leadership conference to serve a one-year term. These servant-leaders represent the educator and student perspective who are dedicated to the planning and executing of the state FBLA program of work, Vermont CTSO Fall Leadership Conference, and Vermont State Leadership Conference.

The decision to serve as a Vermont FBLA State Officer is one that sets a person apart as one of the most dedicated and driven leaders within the FBLA organization. State officers represent Vermont FBLA to business leaders, education officials, community partners, and most importantly the state’s chapter membership. Additionally, the Vermont FBLA look to our state officers to lead by example by making good choices and serving the state and our communities to the best of their abilities.

The state officers are available to attend chapter meetings and officer installations. Please feel free to reach out to any or all of the state officers with any questions, comments and/or thoughts you have.

Ben Pellizzari

Hi! I'm Ben Pellizzari, and I'm a Senior at Lake Region Union High School in Orleans. Originally, I'm from Woonsocket, Rhode Island, but besides the winter chilliness, I love the Vermont culture and landscape, and am proud to call it home. Although I'm still a bit new to FBLA, joining only last year, I love the opportunity and unique experiences the organization has to offer. Outside of FBLA, I'm drawn towards the performing arts. I play jazz piano, participate in both school and community theater productions, and I've had the honor to sing in the All-State choir three times in a row. I'm very thankful and honored to be on this year's Vermont State FBLA Cohort team and look forward to the challenges and opportunities to come.
